On the first day of school, I showed courage. I saw a shy girl standing in the crowd, and immediately it reminds me of myself in third grade, the first time I came to ACS Doha I was an absolute nervous wreck, but my anxiety improved, anyway, I went and showed courage by being Aisha's best buddy, she was an extreme help for me to practice my social and confidence skills in real life situations, so not only did I help her but I also improved my skills of branching out of my comfort zone in school.
Aisha told me all about her past school and lifestyle, she told me she is Australian and lived in Australia for basically her whole life, it was nice to know someone that I have never ever met before yet we have a lot of similarities; we both have two older sisters, we lived our whole life in our homeland before we came to Qatar, we are both now going to the same school, and we both show courage, friendship, and kindness to each other and the others, and I know for a fact that if someone in the future comes to Aisha's class, she will branch out like I did and welcome them with the warmest heart in the world.
This taught me that helping others will also help you in some kind of shape or way, because kindness is contagious to everyone in the whole wide world, and you will probably feel good about yourself if you. show good behavior whether you volunteered to help a community or a new friend in school. This also taught me that helping a friend will make them really happy when they are in need as well as they will help you like you helped them when they are in need of a shoulder to cry on or a simple smile that will make them full of joy and happiness and they will spread it around their friends and family and also almost everyone they meet.
As for now, I and Aisha are great fun friends that enjoy our time when we are together.
